COUNCIL house tenants in Otley and Yeadon are being urged to take advantage of a new fund for improving local estates.
Leeds City Council has set aside £3 million to be used on making environmental improvements – covering everything from recycling facilities to parking – on council estates.
Councillor Colin Campbell (Lib Dem, Otley and Yeadon) said: “The money can be used to help fund a range of schemes to improve life for all residents of an area.
“As there is a time limit for bids I want to ensure our area gets its fair share so I am urging residents to put their thinking caps on and come up with innovative schemes for their area.”
