A HANDCRAFTED doll's house is being auctioned for charity at a fundraising event in Horsforth this weekend.

The piece, which has been lovingly furnished, with more than £1,000 spent on it, will be for sale at an event in Horsforth Hall Park cricket club to raise money for Parkinson's UK.

The auction, on Sunday, August 31, will be part of the wider event, which includes a fashion show, a bouncy castle, a raffle and refreshments.

The event will start at 2pm, with a fashion show by New Collection at 3pm, and an auction of promises at 4.15pm.

Organiser Karen Brown said: "My uncle made the doll's house and some of the furniture and he and his wife then collected lots of different pieces of furniture and accessories, my aunty sadly passed away in June so my uncle wants it to go to a good cause.
