Otley and District Talking Newspaper has enjoyed another successful year.
The group, which produces audio versions of local news for blind and partially sighted residents each week, held its annual meeting on Monday, May 12.
Outgoing chairman Trevor Davey said that, despite some problems with the USB copying equipment, the organisation’s 75 listeners were pleased with the service.
Mr Davey, who has been succeeded by Mandy Thompson, was thanked for his hard work.
The group would like to hear from anyone who knows someone in Otley, Pool-in-Wharfedale, Rawdon, Yeadon, Menston or Burley-in-Wharfedale who would benefit from the free service. Contact secretary John Barker on (01943) 461401 to find out more.
