People in Ilkley and Addingham will get the chance to see the Tour de France Grand Depart trophy when it goes on display next week.
The official trophy, which is awarded to the city or area which hosts the opening stage of the tour, will be on display at four sites around the district between Thursday, April 10, and Sunday, April 13.
The ornate trophy, which features the Tour de France logo, was first presented last year to the island of Corsica when it hosted the Grand Depart of the centenary tour.
It goes on display at the King’s Hall in Ilkley next Thursday, April 10, from 11am to 3pm, and will also visit Addingham Primary School.
Yorkshire will be the second name to feature on the tour symbol, which was commissioned by Tour de France organisers, the Amaury Sport Organisation, and was designed by the award-winning French photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand.
