A Mother’s Day raffle will raise money to support children and families affected by cancer.
Staff at the new branch of TSB, on Brook Street, in Ilkley, are holding the raffle to raise money for Candlelighters. Local businesses have already stepped forward to support the fundraiser, and the public are being asked to show their support by buying raffle tickets.
TSB branch manager Sarah Rafferty spent a day at Leeds General Infirmary meeting some of the children affected by cancer.
“There are so many children and families who are affected by this, and from spending a day there with some inspirational children I know it is a great cause,” she said.
Raffle prizes include a facial, a personal training session, a restaurant voucher and chocolate.
