Mum-of-two and Rawdon resident Hayley Sugden, owner of The Creation Station, Leeds, has been shortlisted for the prestigious award of Franchisee of the Year 2014.

The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony at Brook Marston Farm Hotel in Warwickshire on Saturday, March 1.

The Creation Station is an award-winning children’s art and craft provider, with franchisees running workshops, events, and parties across the country.

The fun, education-based sessions allow children to experience a wide range of materials, colours and techniques, as well as exploring and developing their imaginations and art and craft skills.

Hayley, 38, said: “I’m so delighted to be nominated for this award. What we do at the Creation Station is incredibly rewarding and we work very hard to ensure that every child that comes to our sessions is able to express their creativity in their own individual way.”

Hayley, alongside seven other Creation Station franchisees, has been shortlisted for this award out of a total of 71 franchisees.

In addition to Hayley’s award nomination, Jill Hassall, 32, employee at The Creation Station, Leeds, and also a local Rawdon resident, has been nominated for the Employee of the Year award.

This is the second year Hayley has been nominated for the Franchisee of the Year award, which she won in 2013.
