There will be more than one glittering ball when Cinderella is staged in Yeadon this weekend.

Not only will Cinders go to the ball, but she will also be able to enjoy the sight of an enormous mechanical glitterball in the Yeadon Charities production.

Organisers of the pantomime, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, say audiences will be treated to a sparkling and magical production.

A spokeswoman said: “The cast and crew are putting the finishing touches to what promises to be a pantomime to remember, with a number of surprises throughout the show.

The scene which sees Cinderella turned into Princess Crystal and a pumpkin transformation into a magical coach promises to be a real highlight that will have audiences completely spellbound.”

Cinderella will be performed at Yeadon Town Hall from January 17 to 19 and 22 to 25.
