An American-style ice cream parlour and diner near Bolton Abbey is planning special festive events this weekend.
Billy-Bob’s Parlour, at Calm Slate Farm, Halton East, will have carollers singing old-time Christmas favourites throughout this weekend. To top off the weekend’s entertainment, from 4pm-5.30pm on Sunday, glamorous and talented singer Kiki de Ville will get visitors in the Christmas spirit by singing their favourite 1950s Christmas songs, while warming winter treats from the parlour are served.
This free family event is not ticketed, so visitors are advised to turn up to get a seat, and wrap up warm as if weather allows the entertainment will be outside in the twinkling lamplight.
