A Rawdon floral designer has been given a business boost by Dragons’ Den star Theo Paphitis.

Serendipity Floral Designs had a surge in enquiries after the TV celebrity re-tweeted a message to his 390,000 followers.

The brand is also profiled on his new website.

The boost came about after Serendipity owner Sally Johnson tweeted about her company during ‘Small Business Sunday’ – a social media initiative set up by Theo.

Sally said: “We’ve been in business for five years and we still work from my home-based workshop. I am just delighted to have support from Theo because it’s been tough over the years trying to raise our profile.

“His recognition has added huge value to our hard work and helped spread the word about what we do to his thousands of influential followers. Enquiries in the past few days have been overwhelming.”

Anyone looking for a re-tweet from Theo should tweet him about their business on Sunday between 5pm and 7.30pm and include the hashtag #SBS. Six businesses are re-tweeted every Monday at 8pm and invited to visit theopaphitissbs.com to enter their profile.
