Otley estate agency is on the move to a new site

An estate agency that has had a presence in Otley for nearly 200 years is preparing to move into a new town centre base.
Dacre, Son & Hartley has been operating from Station Road since the 1920s, but has now taken out a lease for No.4 Bondgate.
The property is currently being given a complete refurbishment and the business is hoping to move in next month.
Dacre, Son & Hartley director and head of the Otley office, David Phillip, believes the change will boost trade.
He said: “We are delighted to be expanding into this centrally positioned and easily accessible building in the very heart of town.”
A team of six will work from the new building, including the residential agency sales team, Mr Phillip and chartered surveyor Peter Heaton. Head of Dacres Residential Patrick McCutcheon said: “Our new accommodation is over two floors which gives us room to grow.
“Furthermore, our investment in the new premises also reinforces our commitment to the town with which we have had very close ties for many decades.”
