Horsforth teenager's charity to stage fashion show
3:28pm Thursday 3rd October 2013 in News
Models will be helping to support sick children when they take to the catwalk at the Leeds Fashion Show.
For the second year running, the event will support Bethany’s Smile, which was set up by Horsforth schoolgirl Bethany Hare.
Bethany’s Smile raises money for charities supporting families with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. It is also raising money for Smile Cottage, where families of children with a short life expectancy, will be able to enjoy quality time together.
Its founder, 13-year-old Bethany, will provide entertainment on the night along with dancers from the Scala Performing Arts School, which she attends, She said: “I am so honoured that LFS have chosen to support Bethany’s Smile for the second year running. When I attended the show last year I was amazed at the atmosphere, it was a fantastic evening. I am very excited to be part of the opening entertainment for the show.”
The Dress Me Beautiful MMXIII event will take place on Friday, October 18, at Leeds Town Hall.
Tickets are available online at leedsfashionshow.co.uk/ticket or from Trinity Customer Service Suite, Leeds Town Hall Box Office, and Accent Leeds.
