Day at the races and cricket tickets are up for grabs at Yeadon ball

A summer ball in Yeadon will raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Guests at the black tie event at LA Fitness on Saturday, June 29, will have the chance to win a wide selection of raffle prizes thanks to generous donations from local businesses.  Prizes include two tickets to the England v Australia one day international at Headingley on September 6, donated by Yorkshire County Cricket Club, and two County Stand Badges for the Family Race Day on September 8, courtesy of York Racecourse.

Organiser Maria Lambourne said: “I’m delighted with the generous and enthusiastic offers we have had for raffle prizes and for the room space donated by LA Fitness. It’s very encouraging to have the event supported by so many businesses and I look forward to the evening being a sell-out.”

Tickets cost £15 and include a warm buffet supper and prize draw. They go on sale to the general public from April 6.
