Horsforth church stages interactive tale of Jesus at Easter
11:48am Friday 22nd March 2013 in News
A multi-sensory telling of the Easter story is being created at a Horsforth church.
An ‘Easter Walkthrough’ will be open to the public at Lister Hill Baptist Church next week.
Visitors will be invited to smell the embalming spices and touch the crown of thorns as part of the interactive event, which is open to all ages and includes a free cafe and children’s activities.
The walkthrough has been created to contain every key event in the last week of Jesus’s life, and visitors are being invited to explore it at their own pace.
It will be open from 9am to noon and 5pm to 9pm on Monday, March 25; from 12.30pm to 3pm on Tuesday, March 26; from 12.30pm to 3pm and 5pm to 9pm on Wednesday, March 27 and from 12.30pm to 3pm on Thursday, March 28.
