Burley Round Table holds senior citizens party

Queen’s Hall was packed for Burley-in-Wharfedale Round Table’s annual Senior Citizens Party
Burley-in-Wharfedale Round Table held its annual Senior Citizens Party at the Queen’s Hall, Main Street, on Saturday.
Guiseley Brass Band provided entertainment while members of Round Table – all dressed in black tie – served home-made sandwiches and cakes.
Round Table chairman Michael Robinson said: “This is one of the largest parties we have ever held, with around 120 guests. We have held it every year as far back as I can remember. All the guests have enjoyed themselves, and they are of course invited to the next one.”
The group’s focus is on fun and fundraising in the community.
