A bakery in Ilkley is among those using their loaf to come up with novel ways of raising dough for Comic Relief next week.

The Loafer, on Station Road, will be contributing money from sales of bread on Red Nose Day next Friday to the appeal.

The bakery will donate 20p from every 45p multiseed loaf sold on the day to Comic Relief, contributing to good causes in the Uk and around the world.

Others in Ilkley are cooking up their own ideas for Comic Relief. Among them are staff in the physiotherapy department at Ilkley’s Coronation Hospital, who plan to dress up as superheroes for the day.
