PRIORY CHURCH: The services on Sunday are 8am communion (said), 10.30am sung eucharist and evensong at 4.30pm. Liquid Family Service is at 9.15am on the first Sunday of the month. This service is aimed at youngsters and there are songs, activities and refreshments. Each Wednesday there is a communion service at 10am. All services are BCP. Prayers will be said each Friday during Lent at noon in front of the wooden cross in the ruined chancel, weather permitting, otherwise they will be said in the tower. We have celebrated the 150th anniversary of Bolton Priory becoming a parish church in its own right. Previously we were a curacy of Skipton Parish Church, but from 1863 onwards, our ministers became rectors. There is a display in the tower of related and later items. There are also pictures of the celebrations on the priory website along with many more events. Do take a look on boltonpriory.org.uk.
