A fire has broken out in a derelict building.
The blaze started in a store room in the former Naylor Jennings mill in Green Lane, Rawdon.
Crews from Rawdon and Idle fire stations were called out at 9.22pm last night.
Idle watch commander Sally Evers said: “The building was in a poor state of repair. The fire destroyed the store room, but the building had already been destroyed by vandals and rough sleepers.”
She said the blaze had been started deliberately.
