METHODIST CHURCH: The services on Sunday last were led in the morning by the Rev Fiona Spandler. This was the annual Tin Service when gifts brought were donated to St George’s Crypt in Leeds. Keith Tattershall led the afternoon service. Members were in charge of the Monday guild and also at the meeting of the women’s fellowship on Tuesday afternoon. On Tuesday afternoon the Knit Knax Club met and in the evening, the Rainboat and Rock Solid groups met. As usual the tadpoles toddler groups met on Monday and Wednesday mornings. The Friday shoppers coffee morning and listening service for confidential talking will take place and on Saturday, the celebration cafe will be open. The services on Sunday next will be led in the morning by Mrs J Pullan and in the evening by the Rev Fiona Spandler which will be a circuit service.
