We’ve got a fantastic offer for lovers of fine food.

The award-winning Devonshire Brasserie and Bar at Bolton Abbey has teamed up with the Wharfedale Observer and Ilkey Gazette to offer readers the chance of one main course free when two people dine there.

The offer is for Wednesday to Sunday evenings inclusive until February 28, excluding St Valentine’s Day.

Diners can eat in the brasserie restaurant, where bookings are accepted, or take pot luck in the brasserie bar.

Open from 6pm with last orders at 9.30pm (9.00pm on Sundays) typical dishes could be pan-fried venison haunch steak with dauphinoise potatoes and red cabbage; char grilled rib-eye steak with fat chips and mushrooms; beer battered haddock with crushed garden peas and chips and pan-fried sea bass with scallops and tarragon risotto.

Everything is freshly prepared using the best-quality produce from local suppliers.

The hotel is well known for its wine cellars and Brasserie diners can either choose from the house list or, for something really special, from the Devonshire Cellar list. A choice of local cask ales is on the bar.

In both the Brasserie restaurant and bar the influence of the Duchess of Devonshire is very apparent, with her love of colour reflected in the lively decor. The walls are dressed with original paintings and drawings by celebrated Yorkshire artist Kitty North, with contemporary works depicting the Wharfedale countryside. All are available for sale.

This offer is valid for dinner in the evening until February 28, 2013, excluding February 14, subject to availability.

Call (01756) 710710 or visit thedevonshirearms.co.uk to book a table in the Brasserie.

Find your voucher in yesterday's Wharfedale Observer or Ilkley Gazette. Voucher must be produced on arrival to qualify for your two-for-one main course offer. Maximum four diners per voucher.
