Ilkely Homemakers' £500 gift for Samaritans
Annette Ackroyd, chairman of Ilkley Homemakers, is pictured presenting a cheque for £500 to Bob Howe, of The Samaritans.
The Samaritans was the Homemakers’ chosen charity for 2012 and the donation was raised at their annual charity Christmas fair.
The Homemakers is a social group meeting on the second Thursday evening of each month at Church House in Ilkley and they have a full programme of speakers.
