Ilkley charities and community groups will be able to learn more about online fundraising at a drop-in event this month.
People are invited to attend and enjoy a cup of tea and cake while finding out how using Localgiving.com, a not-for-profit fundraising website, might boost their group’s finances.
The website allows local groups to showcase their work and allows community organisations, as well as registered charities, to raise money online and benefit from gift aid.
Megan Vickery, Localgiving.com manager, said: “It’s really important for groups to think about new ways of raising the money they need, especially in these challenging times, when counting every penny matters more than ever.”
The informal session will be held at Otley Courthouse from 4pm to 6pm on Wednesday, January 23.
