North Yorkshire county council launches heating help scheme for vulnerable

Vulnerable householders in South Craven are being offered help to keep warm.
North Yorkshire County Council has launched a Hotspots scheme, which helps older people and those on low incomes access services.
It includes energy efficiency advice, assessments for home improvement and insulation initiatives, and benefits entitlement checks.
An early-warning system identifies people at risk, and support and advice can be obtained from the Yorkshire Energy Partnership.
