Community to have its say on Airedale Hospital services

Patients, carers and other members of the community are being invited to have their say on plans to develop services at the main general hospital serving the Ilkley area.

Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is seeking the views of its members and the general public on its annual plan, which describes what the hospital wants to do and how it proposes to do it.

The trust’s proposed priorities for the year ahead are: preventing ill health and providing better early diagnosis and treatment, managing ongoing physical and mental health conditions to give a better quality of life and so care feels joined up, helping patients recover from ill health or injury, making sure patients experience better care not just better treatment, and providing safe care in a clean environment.

Everyone who takes part in an online survey before January 31 will be entered for a prize draw to win a £25 voucher.

Visit the website surveymonkey.com/s/B5KWSFT to complete the questionnaire, describing the five priorities which the Council of Governors and the Board of Directors plan to focus on during 2013/14.

“This is a chance for you to really help us to shape the way services should be provided both in our hospital and in the local community in the future.”
