THE ORGANISERS of Otley Folk Festival are promising 'another great weekend' this year.
All kinds of acts, from established bands to newcomers, will be playing at venues across town from Friday, September 15 to Sunday, September 17.
The Festival Committee says it is on track to deliver three days of 'concerts, dances, workshops, sessions and street entertainment' that should offer something for everyone.
As always a festival campsite will be in operation on the field opposite Stephen H Smith's garden centre, off Pool Road.
Belshazzar's Feast, James Fagan and Nancy Kerr, Jez Lowe, The Hut People, Grace Petrie, Roisin Band and the Jon Palmer Band are just some of the artists confirmed to be performing so far.
Weekend tickets for the 2017 festival are on sale now and can be purchased at otleyfolkfestival.com .
Anyone interested in helping in any way over the weekend, meanwhile is asked to send an e-mail to otleyff@hotmail.com .
