MUSICAL madness, cool cats, and dogs for that matter and child geniuses flood the cinema screen this week, with their quirky, upbeat quality and touching stories to fill those rainy summer days with joy.

From July 7th - 13th, we are showing the dramatic events leading up to D-Day for a second week in Churchill. Joining Britain's finest is comedy drama Gifted, starring Chris Evans as a single man raising his young niece Mary in Florida. But raising the child as normally as possible, as per the wishes of her mother prove difficult as Mary is a mathematical genius, whose talents come to the attention of Frank's formidable mother, Evelyn.

In a duo of debuts, Mark Cousins directs musical drama Stockholm, My Love, a symphony to the glorious city starring Swedish singer-songwriter Neneh Cherry, in her acting debut. We follow this woman's footsteps as she travels through her native city and she struggles to recover from something terrible that happened to her the year previously.

Get ready to rock as we're showing Mumford and Sons' first ever concert in South Africa in Mumford and Sons: Dust and Thunder. We also continue down the path of musical icons with a documentary depicting the life of one of the most successful female musicians of all time: Whitney Houston in the eponymous Whitney: Can I Be Me?

Who doesn't love cats? If you are indeed a lover of our furry feline friends, then Kedi is the documentary for you! Literally translating as cat in Turkish, Kedi follows the lives of seven very different, charismatic and gorgeous stray cats living on the streets of Istanbul, and the humans that look after them.

And finally, it's quite literally raining cats and dogs at Ilkley Cinema, for we have pooches wanting to be rock stars in musical adventure Rock Dog for this Saturday's Kids' Club.
