COMEDY musical The Addams Family comes to Bradford Alhambra from July 4 to 8.

Samantha Womack, Les Dennis, Cameron Blakely and Carrie Hope Fletcher play the leading roles of Morticia, Uncle Fester, Gomez and Wednesday.

Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and has a shocking secret that only Gomez knows; she’s fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family.

Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before — keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia.

Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents, with Lurch and Pugsley in residence.

Samantha Womack left BBC1’s EastEnders after nearly a decade as Ronnie Mitchell. Samantha has also played Tanya Dawson for three series of the hit comedy Mount Pleasant, and on film she will be reprising her role this summer as Michelle Unwin in Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

Les Dennis spent the last three years playing burglar-turned-Romeo, Michael Rodwell, in ITV’s Coronation Street.

His stage credits include She Loves Me, Me & My Girl, Chicago, Monty Python’s Spamalot and Hairspray.

Carrie Hope Fletcher’s recent theatre credits include Eponine in Les Misérables in London and Dubai, Truly Scrumptious in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Beth in Jeff Wayne’s arena tour War of the Worlds.

Cameron Blakely’s previous theatre credits include the role of Thenardier in Les Misérables, a role he played for two years in London’s West End. Cameron was also part of the 25th anniversary concert for the musical at the O2, where he played Bamatabois.
