MICHAEL Flatley returns to Bradford Alhambra in March with his latest Lord of the Dance show.

Dangerous Games, performed from March 7 to 12, marks the 20th anniversary of the original Lord of the Dance and has just toured the world.

Dangerous Games has been created, produced, choreographed and directed by the Irish dance master.

The original Lord of the Dance show premiered at the Coliseum in London two decades ago,

In 2014 Flatley transformed the show into its current version, with music composed by Gerard Fahy, and went on to successful runs in the West End and Broadway as well as Canada, Ireland, Germany, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

Producers promise an intoxicating mix of dance and music that fuses the traditional with the contemporary in a classic tale.

A spokesman said: “The spectacle will feature 40 of the world’s most outstanding young performers. This latest iteration combines the best of tradition with all the excitement of new music and dance.

“Fans will be able to see Michael Flatley’s protégés James Keegan, Fergal Keaney and Matt Smith in the role of the ‘Lord’.

“With all the precision and thrills of the original, Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games features new staging, new costumes and choreography, world champion acrobats, special effects lighting, dancing robots, and cutting edge technology including a giant Radiant flat screen that spans the width of the stage.”
