A COMIC who hit the big time in Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights will take the stage at Otley Courthouse next month.

Justin Moorhouse, who played tiger-faced handyman Young Kenny in the hit TV show, is bringing his People & Feelings tour to the venue on Saturday, February 4.

The routine features anecdotes about people Justin knows, their feelings and how he feels about them - and vice versa.

When People & Feelings previewed at Edinburgh last summer it was hailed as a terrific piece of storytelling crammed with colourful characters and 'northernisms'.

As well as stand-up Justin is an actor whose credits include appearances in Coronation Street, Looking for Eric, Max and Paddy's Road To No-Where and Shameless.

As a comic he has appeared on The Comedy Store, One Night Stand, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Live at The Apollo.

He’s also written and starred in two series of his own Radio 4 sitcom, Everyone Quite Likes Justin, and often pops up on the News Quiz on Radio 4, and TalkSPORT.

His Otley show, suitable for ages 16-plus, costs £15 and tickets can be booked by visiting otleycourthouse.org.uk, calling (01943) 467466 or popping into the Courthouse, on Courthouse Street.
