IT IS over ten years since 'The Great Pretender', Freddie Mercury tribute act, Steve Littlewood was first booked to come to Ilkley for a Riverside Concert within the town's Summer Festival.
Now Wickedlady promotions have been fortunate to find a slot in his busy programme for their Christmas party night at the King's Hall, Ilkley, on December 14.
Coming just weeks after the 25th anniversary of Freddie Mercury's death, Steve Littlewood will bring the image, energy and voice of Freddie to Ilkley. His special guest will be Brian Rock, as the legendary Brian May.
The show is a fully costumed light and sound spectacular celebrating the music of Freddie Mercury and Queen.
Anne Hawkesworth of Wickedlady Promotions said: "Steve Littlewood is deservedly regarded as the UK's number one Freddie Mercury act. His reputation has grown year by year. As the title suggests he really is the great pretender. Lauded by many for his uncanny vocal and physical portrayal of one of the worlds greatest superstars. He is in great demand throughout the world. Ilkley is in for a treat."
Tickets for the King's Hall concert on Wednesday, December 14 at 7.45pm are available from Ilkley Visitor Information Centre on 01943 602319.
