MAGICAL festive fun for all the family has been lined up at Otley Courthouse in December.

The arts venue will host The Lost Present: A Christmas Adventure, by Topsy Turvy Theatre, at 2pm on Saturday, December 10.

The story is set on Christmas Eve and follows the adventures of a lost present, Elva.

Having tumbled to earth through the night sky, Elva sets out on a quest to find her best friend - a little girl who she hasn't met yet - in time for Christmas morning.

Written especially for children and brought to life using handmade puppets, original music and delightful storytelling, The Lost Present is described by Topsy Turvy as 'an enchanting tale about true friendship'.Tickets cost £6 for children and £8 for adults.

The Courthouse will present its big pre-Christmas family film, meanwhile, at 2pm on Saturday, December 17.

Zootropolis, a critically acclaimed 2016 movie from Disney, shows a mammal metropolis, Zootopia - designed and populated by all kinds of creatures - in all its glory.

When Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) becomes the first rabbit to join the city's police force, she quickly learns how tough it is to enforce the law.

Determined to prove herself, Judy jumps at the opportunity to solve a mysterious case - but has to work with a wily fox, Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman), who makes her job even harder.

The film starts at 2pm and tickets cost £2 for children and £4 for adults.
