THE BOOTLEG Beatles are trekking around the country to celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Beatles’ last UK tour.

The Bootleggers’ tour also marks an anniversary of their own – 25 years since they set out on the road to become one of the country’s best-known tribute bands.

The Bootleg Beatles, who have performed hundreds of gigs across the globe, with the former St George’s Hall in Bradford, on December 10.

The band was formed from the original cast of London’s West End hit show Beatlemania and performed note-perfect recreations of hits by the Fab Four.

Every tiny detail is meticulously covered from costumes to authentic period instruments, from the ‘Liverpudlian’ banter to their ‘inflection perfect’ vocal mimicry.
