Preparations are currently under way for this year’s Leeds Flamenco Festival, which Ilkley musician Samuel Moore helps organise.

The festival is an annual event organised by Arts@Trinity in Leeds and Instituto Cervantes in Leeds, and hosted by Holy Trinity Church Leeds on Boar Lane, Leeds, on June 6 and 7 this year.

Samuel, who is course leader for Flamenco Guitar at the Instituto Cervantes in London and director of music at Arts@Trinity in Leeds, said: “Due to its recent expansion this year, the 2014 Flamenco Festival promises to be a significant cultural event.

“In addition to many fantastic flamenco dance events, this year’s festival will also feature a solo guitar performance and workshop from the world renowned flamenco guitarist Juan Martin, who will be performing as our headline artist on the Saturday.

“This year, Leeds Flamenco Festival offers you a stunning lineup of the best flamenco artists in the UK.”
