Scala Babies are set to prove popular with the audience
Scala Babes are set to steal the show when they appear in a production at Yeadon town Hall.
The new team of four to six year olds, from the Horsforth based Scala performing arts school, will be introduced to audiences in the Born To Perform show which is being staged over two nights on Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9. The performances are the result of a “show-in-a-week” workshop - with the entire show being put together in just seven days.
Although the youngest members of the cast were too young to attend the workshop they have been rehearsing separately and are expected to be a big hit.
Despite the tough one-week timescale to get the show up and running the children still found the time to enjoy a jubilee-themed picnic and joined the rest of the country for the Big Lunch.
The show is produced by Scala Kids Principal Lynne Walker, and directed and choreographed by Louise Denison. The musical director is Jim Lunt.
The performances start at 7pm and tickets are available on 07779 231823.
