Money flows in as good causes benefit

St Mary’s Catholic High School in Menston recently hosted ‘Let it Flow’, an evening of entertainment raising money for two causes.

The night featured outstanding performances from the Leeds Youth Jazz Rock Orchestra, St. Mary’s Senior Choir and Jazz/Blues Band, the St. Mary’s Djembe Group and the Cardinal Heenan Madrigal Group and Jazz/Blues Band. The event was organised to raise money for the Bambisanani Partnership and the Leeds Youth Jazz Rock Orchestra’s trip to South Africa, where both groups, through sport and music, are working ‘hand in hand’ with their partner schools in South Africa - Bambisanani being the Zulu word for working “hand in hand”.

The concert was a success and raised £630, which will be shared between the two partnerships.
