FOR all those Marvel Fans out there looking for another fix after Infinity Wars, this is one for you. This time we’re over to the X-Men world of the Marvel universe, this is partly down to the controversy of Fox buying the rights for X-Men, meaning they had to be bought back by Marvel to be included in the Infinity Wars films.

Now Disney has bought Fox, it means the universe may be joined back together and now critics fear successful films like Deadpool and Logan may lose their bite.

However, the action-packed sequel to Deadpool promises to have even more naughty mayhem than the first one and looks to be another hit with the Marvel fans.

Another sequel coming up but this time for a younger audience is Sherlock Gnomes. Sequel to the musical family adventure Gnomeo and Juliet, Sherlock Gnomes looks to another literary classic for it’s protagonists. Starring Jonny Depp as the legendary Sherlock Gnomes, enlisted by Gnomeo & Juliet, investigates the mysterious disappearance of the garden gnomes.

Along with a star-studded ensemble cast and produced by Elton John, this is an entertaining hour and 26 minutes that not only the kids will enjoy.

Much like The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, On Chesil Beach is also based from a best-selling book, Ian McEwan’s novella of the same name. Adapted by McEwan himself, the film, starring Saoirse Ronan and Billy Howle, is directed by four time Olivier and BAFTA winning theatre director Dominic Cooke, making his film debut.

This exciting ensemble of collaborative makes this delicate drama about two young lovers in the 1960s, struggling to address unexpressed feelings about their intimate relations, palpable.

And finally, for those that missed it the first time around, fear not, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society will be back for another stint at Ilkley Cinema.

The romantic wartime drama, based on the best-selling book of the same name, has been very popular and will be brought back for another week.
