From January 13th-19th, we also welcome sci-fi, fantasy film Passengers onto our humble screen, with a startling look into a future in space. When Jim (Christ Pratt) wakes up 90 years too early on a routine trip to a new planet, he has everything he could possibly want on board the Avalon, except someone to share it with.

After toying with the morality of reviving another human, he decides to wake up the stunning Aurora (Jennifer Lawrence) to be his companion, and they soon become lovers. But this ship, riddled with malfunctions it seems, is in grave danger and it is up to Jim and Aurora to save the Avalon, and in turn the 5000 lives on board.

These are things we know to be true, cancer is ruthless, unforgiving and indiscriminate in who it claims. But sometimes these are stories that need to be told. Based on a true story and bestselling novel, Mum’s List follows ordinary mum Kate (Emilia Fox), who is diagnosed with incurable breast cancer.

As devastating as this may be, particularly at the idea of not seeing her young boys grow up, she decides to leave a valuable list of memories and life lessons for her husband Singe (Rafe Spall) to teach her children Reef and Finn. This insight into one family’s struggle to cope with the unthinkable will surely touch all of you in some way, so bring the tissues. They will be needed.

Tom Hanks also reprises his role as Captain Sullenberger in heroic tale Sully, and for Kid’s Club on Saturday, we have the most colourful, all singing, sickeningly happy Trolls. Unlikely acquaintances, super bubbly Princess Poppy and grumpy grouch Branch must work together to save their Troll friends from the mean Bergens before they are gobbled up for dinner.
