FOLLOWING on from the success of his illustrated lecture series ‘A History of Modernism’, the artist Graeme Willson is offering a new series entitled ‘A History of European Art’ which will cover the period from the Early Renaissance (c.1250) through to the mid-19th century.
The series of hour-long 20 illustrated lectures will take place in the large room in St Margaret’s Parish Hall, Queens Road, Ilkley, every Thursday morning at 10.30am starting on September 22. The series will take place over two terms of ten weeks each and will cost £65 per term, including tea/coffee and biscuits.
Graeme said: "Judging by last year, much of the attraction of these lectures is attributable to the lively and intelligent nature of audience discussion following on from each lecture!"
