YOUNG dancers from Wharfedale and Aireborough are being invited to join Northern Ballet's Summer Course.
The company is holding the event, for seven to 11 year olds, at its Leeds city centre base from Monday, August 22 to Thursday, August 25.
Each day's activities will run from 9am to 3.30pm and include a ballet class to improve dance skills along with creative movement sessions.
The participating children will be working with Northern Ballet’s professional dance artists and a musician to explore sound and rhythm and produce their own routines.
Those dance pieces will then be shared with family and friends at the end of the course, which costs £130 per child (£120 with a Breezecard) with concessions available.
