THE Wharfedale Chamber Ensemble will return to perform its fourth annual concert next month as part of Burley Summer Festival.
The programme will include a performance of the Bach E major Violin Concerto by Melinda Csenki, winner of the 2010 Oslo Camerata Soloist Competition.
Other highlights from the string orchestra, conducted by David Greed (Leader of the Orchestra of Opera North) and led by Clare Richards will include Britten’s Simple Symphony and Dvorak’s Serenade for Strings.
The concert takes place on Saturday, August 20 at 7.30pm in Burley-in-Wharfedale Methodist Church. Tickets £12 (or £13 on the door), under 19s at £4.
