Foy Vance will perform on November 12 at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds as part of a national tour entitled Wild Swan.
Foy’s current single Upbeat Feelgood is on BBC Radio 2’s Playlist and the video for She Burns, starring Lucy Hale from Netflix’s hit series Pretty Little Liars, reached 300,000,000 YouTube views in a week.
His album Wild Swan, whose executive producer was Elton John, was released in May, featuring “beautiful, hymnal” song Burden.
Mojo magazine said: “The Wild Swan echoes both John Hiatt’s gnarled, R&B-rooted wit and Van Morrison’s lyrical mystic flights while developing Vance’s own.”
The singer will support Elton John on his Wonderful Crazy tour this summer.
