A FEAST of February half-term fun has been lined up at Otley Courthouse.

The arts centre will start off proceedings in cinematic style with an Animation Workshop on Monday.

Running from 10am to 1pm, the event – suitable for over-fives – will show participants how to make their very own short movies.

Tickets cost £5 for adults, £3 for children.

The animation theme will continue on February 19, when the Shaun The Sheep Movie will be shown at 2pm and followed, from 3.45pm to 4.45pm, by a craft workshop, where children can use modelling clay and paint to produce their own 'Shaun'.

Film tickets cost £4 for adults or £2 for children, and combined movie plus craft workshop tickets are also available for children, priced £5.

A wintry tale featuring live music, magic, puppets and projections will round off the half-term attractions when Hearthside Tales presents The Snow Bear on February 20.

Narrated by professional storyteller Chris Bostock, The Snow Bear is performed by multi-talented musician, composer and actor Ken Patterson, who also painted the Snow Bear image for the show.

Children are invited to take along their own teddy bears to join in the fun.

Suitable for ages four to seven and their families, the performance begins at 1.30pm and tickets cost £8 or £6 in advance, or £9 or £7 on the door.
