SINGERS from churches in Wharfedale, Aireborough and North Leeds will join a 400-strong combined choir at the Royal Albert Hall this weekend to sing.
The Hopes & Dreams Choir will team up with other choirs at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday for Prom Praise 2015, an annual event organised by Langham Arts.
The Hopes & Dreams Choir, under the directorship of Mark Cahill of Guiseley, is made up of singers from different churches in the Wharfedale/North Leeds area Although the choir officially disbanded in 2013, it has come together for this occasion after having been specially invited to be involved in Prom Praise, a Christian version of the Last Night of the Proms, with modern worship music as well as classical pieces performed by the All Souls Orchestra of Langham Place.
