THE Devonshire Arms Hotel & Spa at Bolton Abbey are thrilled to announce that they will host the Dingley Dell’s “Flying Visit” event at 7pm on Monday, October 6, 2014.

This gourmet affair will feature the “Magnificent 7”, several of the most accomplished chefs in the UK. Tickets for this fabulous event cost £95 per person for the seven course dinner including wine perfectly matched to each dish by the cellar master, Nigel Fairclough.

Mark Hayward who created the “Flying Visit” concept will be joined on the night by the “Magnificent 7” including; Andrew Nutter, Mark Poynton, Steve Smith, Rupert Rowley, Paul Foster, Eric Snaith and the Burlington Restaurant's own award-winning head chef, Adam Smith.

Each chef will cook an individual course using pork as the main ingredient and on the night be assisted by a lucky catering student chosen from a culinary competition by the Craft Guild of Chefs across the UK. The fortunate winners will also have the opportunity to showcase their individual talents on the night by creating a canapé for the evening’s menu.

Mark has already raised £50,000 for chosen charities and "The Dev" are delighted to be asked to host the Dingley Dell’s event. This fun filled evening will be full of great food and wine with a chance to taste culinary creations from some of the UK's best chefs.

A brief butchery demonstration will take place first before canapés are served, shortly followed by the delicious seven course pork dinner.

RSPCA Freedom Foods & Craft Guild of Chefs will be supporting this event and are helping to raise money for The Devonshire Hotels and Restaurant's nominated children's cancer charity, Ilkley Candlelighters.
