How an Ilkley school marked the Silver Jubilee in 1977
Diamond Jubilee celebrations are expected to continue throughout this year, just as commemorations continued through 1977 for the Queen’s Silver Jubilee. Pictured here are pupils from All Saints School in Ilkley planting bulbs to mark the Silver Jubilee year. The bulbs were planted on Church Street, the Box Tree restaurant being a familiar landmark in the background.
