AN artistic introduction to the new school year was had at Ashlands Primary School, in Ilkley.
Pupils from the tiniest in nursery to the oldest in year six brought an artistic flair to every area of the curriculum for the school's Art Week.
Activities included self portraits by the after school club and pictures in the style of Seurat, Warhol, Pollock and others.
Meanwhile, pupils at Ashlands are delighted with their new uniform, which was introduced at the start of the new term.
The school has replaced its navy blue colour scheme for a vibrant green uniform, complete with a redesigned logo.
Headteacher Eileen Fitzpatrick said: "We feel it reflects more closely what we are and what we want. The children are delighted."
The school worked closely with parents over the design for the uniform and the School Council was also involved.
