ENERGETIC Otley pupils notched up the equivalent distance of a run from Otley to Spain during a week dedicated to being healthy.
Children at All Saints C of E Primary School set themselves the challenge of running a mile at the start of each day and finishing each afternoon with an aerobics routine during their Be Healthy Week.
Pupils also ate healthily with each one contributing a fruit for a gigantic fruit salad which was enjoyed as part of a mass picnic lunch.
Visitors also came during the week to talk about the importance of personal hygiene and dental health, and a special assembly was held, in which joke tellers ensured that everyone started the day with a smile and a laugh, The week, which included healthy events, had been co-ordinated by Corinne Latham and concluded with the school's sports day organised by Shean Hatfield.
