CHILDREN at Ben Rhydding Primary School have not only produced an attractive display with their hard work in design technology, they can also take the weight off their feet.
As part of the school curriculum the children in Year Six have been hard at work designing and producing their own indoor footwear.
Teacher Liz Redman - pictured with Adam Witty, Rita Haynes and Callum Denisonsmith - was very proud of her charges. She said: "They have done some fantastic work which is on display.
The slippers, which are made of neoprene and felt, will be taken by the children to wear at home and according to Mrs Redman, should last around a year.
