DICK Sheila Mary O'Doherty (nee Davis) Died peacefully in Burley-in-Wharfedale, on Monday, June 19, 2017, surrounded by her family and long term carer Alice. Dearly beloved wife of the late James Allan, darling and cherished mum to Sandra and Geraldine, beloved mother-in-law to Michael and Bill and much loved and devoted nana to Richard and Phillip. Cremation will be at Nab Wood Crematorium, Shipley, on Monday, July 3, at 10.10a.m., followed by a Service of Thanksgiving for Sheila's life at St John Fisher and St Thomas More RC Church, Burley-in-Wharfedale, at 11.15a.m. Sheila's request was for no sombre clothing to be worn. Family flowers only please, but donations if desired may be made to The Stroke Association c/o J. Waite & Son Funeral Director, Menston, West Yorkshire. Tel 01943 872485.
