ALMOND Simon Richard On January 14, peacefully at Burley Hall, aged 58 years, formerly of Ilkley. Loving husband of the late Valerie, eldest son of Rita and Walter and brother to Timothy, Rosemary and Edward. Service will take place at St Mary's Parish Church, Burley in Wharfedale on Monday, January 25 at 11.00a.m, followed by interment at Ilkley Cemetery. No flowers please. Donations if desired to Mencap may be given at the service or sent c/o H. Eaton & Sons, Ashlands Road, Ilkley, LS29 8JT.

I am very sorry to hear of Simon's death. I knew him, and Val, well in the 1990s when they were part of the Wharfedale Faith and Light group, and I was at their wedding.
My sincere condolences to his family.
